You may have heard of Mr. Skin, the famous celebrity nude site. While Mr. Skin is obsessed with naked actresses, Mr. Man covers male actors and celebrities. Mr. Man doesn't deal in fakes or unauthorized sex tapes; instead you'll find real pics and clips of real celebrities. As of this review there are over 19500 brief clips of thousands of actors and other celebrities and the site adds new content every day. While you couldn't call this a conventional porn site, it is definitely appealing to those of us who want to see "all" of our favorite actor, model, or athlete.

Tour

The tour page is quite simple, offering some teasers for themes (playlists), featured updates and popular celebrities. But to get any free clips you have to provide a valid email address. On the sign-up page, there's a prechecked offer for a free one-day trial to another site, but that will rebill at "the standard monthly rate" -- and they don't tell you what that rate is.

There is a pre-checked upsell for a trial membership to another site on the subscription page which you will want to make sure is unchecked.

The sign-up page could be more transparent by emphasizing that "subscriptions renew automatically unless otherwise stated" (which is tucked away at the very bottom of the page, in small print, well below the "Purchase" button).

Usability

Mr. Man has a clean and contemporary design. It also organizes and labels its huge amount of content very well. In the top tool bar there's an area called "Browse" with a drop down menu so you can search the "Celebs," the TV show and movie "Titles," or the site's inventory of "Pics" or "Clips." The "Celebs" index allows you to do a name search or filter by hair color, ethnicity, or whether or not a real penis gets exposed. The "Titles" index allows a general title search as well as filtering by year of release or genre.

The "Pics" and "Clips" are all tagged with relevant keywords so its easy to jump around between terms of interest. You can make your search as detailed as you want -- but combining terms you narrow your search, not broaden it. An extra feature is the "Playlists" that are compilations of clips on a variety of topics, though not all of the clips are assigned to playlists so far.

"Original Videos" offers well-produced entertainment show style clips featuring the latest nudity news from Hollywood.

The Men and the Action

The men here are all known actors, artists, athletes and other personalities. Almost all the pics and clips are from movies and TV; there are no "sex tapes" and no fake photos. Since this isn't porn, the skin tends to be exposed for seconds at a time and only in the context of the story. Shirtless is by far the most common form of nudity you'll find, followed by butt shots. There are also lots of cock shots, although they tend to be brief and from a distance.

It's not just sex symbols that make the grade here; there's a big variety, including the likes of Billy Bob Thornton, John Goodman, and Big Bang Theory nerds sharing space with Brad Pitt and Zac Efron. A nice touch is that every movie and TV title provides a brief general plot description in addition to the description of the nude bits. Many of the celebrity pages give a history of the guy's nude moments in film.

Video Details

The viewing quality of the videos is often excellent, with many available in high-definition. This, of course, depends on how the source material was filmed and when it was shot. But because this isn't porn you can't expect lingering shots on the parts you are most interested in; more often it's a fleeting moment to appreciate the goods.

Some videos include a special "Skin Vision" feature, which repeats the most revealing part of the clip in slow motion so that you get a better chance to see the nudity. However, videos with this feature are not labeled so you never know when it's going to be available.

At review date, Mr. Man offers over 19500 video clips from movies and TV series, covering more than 7900 male "celebrities." Many of the clips are less than a minute long; several new ones are added to the site daily.

Image and Other Content

There are over 68000 images on the site, and most of these are stills from a movie or TV show. The image sets tend to be just a few pics that capture the exact moment of maximum exposure. The images are over 1,000 pixels wide at their default size and will size up to full screen at which point you can use the mouse to zoom in further. Mr. Man wants you to understand that gay men will like the site, so he throws in 40 porn video preview clips from producers such as Falcon Studios and Cocky Boys, in case you get all horned-up from looking at hot famous people.

"Specials" in the site menu will take you to discount offers for several porn sites. "Live Cams" will take to you to another site which is not included in your Mr. Man membership.

Summing Up

Mr. Man provides what it advertises: huge numbers of video clips and screen shots of many male actors and celebrities in full or partial nudity. It's well organized and new clips are added each day. Who knows why we get such a kick out of these often brief and partial views of our favorite male celebs -- but we do.
